The Bask down hats have been great for our two small children (ages 2 and 5). These hats are so warm and comfortable, the kids will happily stay outside for several hours at temperatures as low as -40 C. The brim helps protect their eyes from sun, snow and wind. Because the hats are adjustable, the small size fits children as young as 2 years old and can be adjusted to fit children 6 yrs old or more - so we are getting several years of use out of each one.
