The BASK Company is now an official partner of the UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d`Alpinisme)
January 1 this year is the effective date of a cooperation agreement between the BASK Company and the
UIAA.
The agreement was signed in September 2003 at the UIAA's headquarters in Switzerland.
This joint project will last for 2 years, and during this period the official sign 'UIAA - Partner' will be fixed only on down jackets and other down-padded clothes produced by the BASK Company.
The UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d` Alpinisme) has granted the BASK Company an exclusive right to affix the above-mentioned Company's sign to down-padded clothes designed for extreme weather conditions. Models that will be manufactured with the 'UIAA - Partner' designation, have already passed the necessary tests and will be made from English-produced Pertex fabrics with the use of elite-quality down from Russia. At present dealers of the BASK products are collecting orders for these items to be manufactured starting from February 2004.
The presentation of a complete collection of down-padded clothes 'UIAA - Partner' will take place in Russia at the exhibition 'Recreation - Outdoor' from 8 to 12 April 2004, and in the USA — in the winter of 2004/05 at the exhibition 'Outdoor Retailer' in Salt Lake City, while in Europe it will occur at the exhibition 'Outdoor' in Friedrichshafen (Germany) in July 2004; and also in the UK, Sweden, Norway and Denmark this collection will be presented by the BASK Company's trade partners as part of local exhibitions.
